Society is finally beginning to realize the damage of words by canceling those who refuse to play by the rules. I’m talking about you, DaBaby. When Chris Brown says you stepped over the line, you need to check yourself.
Back in the day, our parents said, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all.”
Somehow, with the advent of the internet and anonymous trolling, that adage has been forgotten. The amount of cruelty out there is staggering. Truthfully, I don’t know how people process that level of abuse.
The message I’d like to impart is simple. Life is spectacularly hard on the best of days. Sometimes it takes the bravery of a superhero to get out of bed.
If you can’t say something nice, shut your mouth and keep your opinions off the internet.
By the way, that goes for you when you look in the mirror. That girl has been through a lot of crap and came out the other side. She deserves your love, respect, and kind words. If you can’t do that for her, take your business elsewhere.
